PayNearMe Callbacks
Purpose
PayNearMe lets your company safely and easily do business with the millions of customers who prefer to pay in cash. PayNearMe callbacks allow you to automatically control those transactions to support your business processes.
PayNearMe Callback Bootstraps
Callback Bootstraps jumpstart the process of integrating with callbacks. Each package offers an example implementation that serves as the broadest possible starting point for handling incoming callbacks and constructing the appropriate responses. The packages include the helper class libraries you need to start right and finish faster with less work. Download them at https://github.com/paynearme
Authorization Callback
Authorization Callbacks are sent after a Pay Token is scanned but before cash changes hands. They allow you to:
- Decline unwanted payments (such as expired offers, incorrect minimum amounts, bills sent to collections, and goods in the process of repossession or revocation).
- Provide up to 3,000 characters of personalized text for the printed receipt, which can be used for valuable customer information, such as itineraries, instructions, points programs, account status, or special offers based on buying history.
Confirmation Callback
Confirmation Callbacks are sent immediately at the conclusion of each transaction. They authoritatively confirm the outcome of the transaction, allowing you to update your books and business systems in real time. They may be used by themselves but are required if Authorization Callbacks are used. They allow you to:
- Post confirmed payments immediately after they’re made.
- Know in advance exactly how much cash you’ll receive…guaranteed.
